Hypothetical Returns

Hypothetical growth is for illustrative purposes. The reported values are hypothetical and cannot be guaranteed. Estimated performance does not reflect actual nor future returns. Hypothetical performance refers broadly to looking backwards with the benefit hindsight and then discounting those historical returns substantively, to present a conservative estimate of future returns, without foresight. As a result, the reader is cautioned not to place undue reliance on forward-looking statements.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Time Horizon

For the dashboards, we have estimated an annualised, assumed returns for up to a 30-year period. One cannot expect to achieve consistent positive returns year-over-year. Results vary over time and due to compound interest, one’s time horizon and market conditions at the beginning and end date of investing will have an impact on returns. The greater the number of compounding periods, the greater the compound interest will be.

Key Assumptions

Hypothetical annualised returns of assume the reinvestment of all distributions which include income (dividends) and capital gains, and no withdrawals (except for US income withholding tax on dividends). Bermuda and Cayman Islands have unique, simplified tax structures. The BIAS Global Portfolios SPC mutual funds are not subject to capital gains tax. Overseas residents are encouraged to consult with their tax advisor to determine which taxes (i.e., income tax) would be payable by the investor in his/her country of domicile, as this would have the effect of reducing historical returns. Neither Bermuda Investment Advisory Services Limited, BIAS Investors Cayman nor any of its subsidiaries provide tax advice.

Calculations

The financial information presented in this dashboard uses a compound interest calculation. Stated returns for periods greater than one year are compounded, average annual rates of return. The investment manager arrived at assumed returns based on statistical information, historical and past performance of the BIAS mutual funds within BIAS Global Portfolios SPC.

Fees

Returns (performance) are reported as net and are calculated after management fees have been deducted. Performance does not include any additional annual fees, plan member fees, redemption fees nor transaction fees and costs. If such costs and fees were reflected, the overall return to the Client would be lower.

More information about the fees for BIAS Global Portfolios SPC can be found in the Prospectus/Information Memorandum.
